The Bible Belt Hath Tightened

Dear Mr. Law Enforcement Agency:

Recently, you felt it necessary to raid a couple of local establishments.  You raided these establishments not for running drugs, prostitutes, or even weapons.  No, you stormed in, guns blazing, to break up a poker game.  We're not talking about a big time, high stakes game either.  No sir!  You broke up a couple of $1/2 games.  Huge stakes!  Now that you have raided these games and padded your pockets with several thousand dollars that does not belong to you, I have a question.  Why?

Why is it that I have to lock up everything I have because the pill poppers a couple houses down will steal anything that isn't bolted down?  Why is it that when I drive through town, I see dealers peddling their wares out in the open.  Sometimes the prostitutes will try to get in your vehicle and you have to push them back.  Yet, my friends face persecution for playing a simple game?  I won't even get into the aspect of the actual law enforcement officers I have personally played with in these games.  Not the guys you sent... NO! The guys on your payroll that play willingly...those are the guys I played with.

Dear Mr. Law Enforcement Agency, why is it that you have the resources to have someone playing undercover in these games for 4 months, yet you don't have the resources to clean up our streets?  You get on my television and complain that you don't have the resources to pay your employees overtime.  You don't have the resources to make sure your officers are properly trained or equipped.  Yet you have the resources to bankroll an officer and pay him to play poker with a bunch of decent people.  Who cares, right?  It's just taxpayer money.

Why is it that you squeeze every cent of tax that you possibly can out of business owners and civilians alike, then blatantly steal the rest?  Why is it that a man that runs a certain establishment bring so much to a single town and you take and take and take what he brings into your town...yet you still feel the need to raid this establishment and take some more?  Why is it that this same establishment has 5 video slot machines hooked up to the Governors office, yet they can't play a simple skilled game on the side?  This establishment brings in tens of thousand, if not hundreds of thousands in tax money to the town and state, not to mention the revenue that is direct deposited into the Governors pocket through the slot machines.  Once a month, he hosts an event that brings people from several states to this establishment.  As a result, the neighboring businesses also flourish...which means the law enforcement agencies and other government agencies flourish with the additional tax revenue.  This establishment does that much for you, yet you still feel the need to raid it and steal even more?

Mr. Law Enforcement Agency, why is it that you must call everyone's phone number on that cell phone?  Are you trying to intimidate me?  If so, it's not working.  In fact, I would love to hear from you.  I have a lot of questions I'd like answered.  Also, I'd love to blog the transcript of our conversation on my website.

Dear Mr. Law Enforcement Agencies .... FUCK YOU!

No more politics

I'm so fucking tired of this presidential election. I'm tired of hearing about it on the radio. I don't have a TV, but when I watch other people's TV's, I hear about it there. I've even started hearing about it from the mouth breathers down the street because it has turned into a black/white issue with them. They are rooting for whitey.

Personally, I'm so burnt out on politics. It's all the same B.S. If I actually believed Obama would make a difference in Washington, I'd support him. As it stands now, I'm not supporting either candidate. That's my view on the subject right now and all the detail I'll get into.

The one thing that really bugs me about this election though is the fact that my favorite poker blogs are spewing all this political mumbo jumbo day in and day out. Which means I'm not getting entertained. I'm not pointing fingers either because I'm guilty myself. It seems the poker community leans to the left as where I try to walk the middle, but fall to the right if I lose my balance. So I'm sure it's even more frustrating for one of my readers when they log in and see me calling Obama a douchebag.

So here's the deal. This blog is going to be politics free (unless it's something directly poker related). You catch me blogging about politics on this particular blog, you get to rename it for a week. Just email me if you catch me and tell me what you want it named and I'll do it.

Starting.....

My good friend Bobby Bird

"Ted...Ted... I miss you!"

What a disgrace Robert Byrd is to the country and West Virginia. I can't believe people vote for this retarded racist prick. The only reason he has had a job this long is because he caters to the coal miners. They are too backwards to figure out he's just a disgusting human being.

The one thing I hate about this state is the racism. We don't have a diverse population here in WV. This leads to some nasty racism that you deal with on a daily basis. It's ugly. We have elected a Grand Wizard of the KKK into office for like 100 straight years. Also, when the Presidential Primary came through, the most common phrase you would hear is "I ain't voting for that nigger!". Nice.

And then the same people wonder why we are in the dark ages when compared to the rest of the country.

Wanna know the truth about Iraq?

Sometimes you just have to ignore the politicians and get the info directly from people that are actually there. This is one of the best blog entries I've ever read and it actually almost moved me. And I'm a big boy. This is one of Otis' friends.

Oil Companies Profits and Poker

Here's an analogy that maybe some of the readers of this blog will understand when it comes to profits, profit margins, and the oil companies. SO much hoopla is made about the oil companies record "Profits" these days while we, the little people are stuck paying $4/gallon for gas.

Of course the oil companies are going to have record profits. When costs go up, so do profits assuming you are using the same markup. If you sell an item for $100 and it costs you $50, you have 100% markup and a 50% margin. Now let's say that item starts costing you $100 instead of $50. If you keep the same 100% markup, you need to sell the item at $200. Boom, you've just doubled your profits. HOWEVER!!! Your margin is still at 50%.

Let's take a look at a similar scenario in poker. Let's say you are crushing the $3/6 games for 2 BB/100. So you are making $12 every 100 hands. Ok, so you've been a good little poker player and your bankroll has grown and now you are ready to play some $5/10. Let's assume you still win at a 2 BB/100 rate. Now you are making $20 every 100 hands. That's $8 in extra profit every hundred hands! Yet your winrate is exactly the same.

Business is similar to poker in this way. When costs go up, it's like the stakes going up in a poker game. What's the point in moving up in stakes if that extra $8 per 100 hands is just going to get taken away by Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, or even John McCain? There is none. You can risk less and win the same amount of money at $3/6.

Now let's turn to the oil companies. Contrary to some statements I've heard from some very ignorant fucks recently, the oil companies don't make the oil. They buy the oil, process it, then sell it. Oil is a natural resource. The rising cost of crude oil is like forcing a poker player to move up in stakes whether they want to or not. However, when they raise the stakes, so many politicians expect their profits to the same as if they were still playing lower stakes.

So you're a poker player. You've been winning $12 per 100 hands. Then let's say that all of the sudden, the lowest stakes online are $10/20. Ok, you deal with it, work on your game a bit and now you are making $40 per 100 hands. Nice! Now a senator steps in and calls you evil for making so much money per 100 hands and vows to take $32 per 100 and let you continue to have your $8 per 100. Does that seem fair to you?

It's all basic economics folks. Simple supply and demand. Is any of this getting through?

We need to bring back the noose

Well, how sweet the Supreme Court upheld the lethal injection as not being too cruel a punishment. No shit. My thought is that lethal injection is for pussies. Dammit, if you're gonna put someone to death, at least make them suffer a bit. This one douchebag has been waiting 17 years for the lethal shot. 17 years of us paying for his 3 hots and cot. What did he do? He only shot his girlfriend in the face 3 times with a shotgun. Nothing too cruel.

What the fuck happened to our country? When did you all turn into such pussies? What happened to an eye for an eye? Jesus Christ folks, wake up and smell the roses. This country is going to hell in a hand basket. And we are allowing it to get that way.

One by one, you let the government take control of your rights as a citizen. Pretty soon you'll have to rely on the government for everything. I don't know about you, but I think the government is way too big and out of control right now. I'd be happy as can be if they just let me be and let me make my own way. Too bad 1/2 of America is too damn caught up in scamming the system for more handouts to see that. Kids all around me are seeing their parents work the system and when they grow up they will think that's just how things are. Fuck that.

I'm tired of seeing this country turn into a big smelly vagina that is always looking for the next hand out.

I can hold it in no longer

Barack Obama is a douchebag just like every other candidate running for president. Him and Hilary are spewing a bunch of buzzwords and regurgitating a bunch of B.S. on how they are going to fix the high gas prices. I've listened to their suggestions and my conclusion is that they have no clue what they are talking about. They are just feeding you morons a bunch of crap you want to hear.

Let's start with the oil companies. For those of you that graduated from public schools, "profit" is a dollar amount that you earned above your costs. "Profit Margins" are a percentage based on the amount of "profit" you earned divided by the price. For example, let's say you sell dildos. A deluxe model dildo costs you $85. You sell the deluxe dildo for $100. You have made $15 in "profit" and your profit margin is 15% ($15/100 = 0.15 or 15%). Now let's take a look at the average retailer. Most of them are working on 30-50% profit margins. Some products we sold are earning the sellers upwards of 100-200% in profit margins. Now, let's look at the oil industry. They are working at below a 10% profit margin (usually 8-9% from the research I've done).

Obama had a nice little ad on TV the other day that said he was going to take the oil companies' Windfall profits. What is a windfall profit? You ask the average American and they are going to look at you with a blank stare. Basically a windfall profit is when your profits rise based on factors that you don't control. The oil companies are showing record multi-billion dollar profits these days due to the high cost of oil. However, their profit margins are the same. Higher costs will result in higher profits if you keep the margins the same. So blaming the oil companies is nothing but placing the blame where it doesn't really belong.

Also, Obama spewed a bunch of crap about spending extra on exploring alternative sources of energy. That's all well and good, but it doesn't fix our immediate problem. Do you honestly believe that in 4 years, our cars will be running on water, bananas, or even used tampons? In my opinion, our best case scenario for that kind of discovery is 20-50 years. What will we be paying for a gallon of gas then? It doesn't help our immediate problem.

The solution to this entire clusterfuck is a simple fix. It's basic economics. As your supply lowers, the demand rises resulting in higher prices. So we need to raise the supply of oil. That is easily fixed by drilling in ANWR or aquiring oil from the Iraqis as payment for fixing their shitty ass country. Even at that, it's not going to completely help gas prices. If our cars ran on crude oil, then that would be it. However, the oil needs to be refined. We have to build more refineries. This is something that Obama, Clinton, and many other politicians are going to oppose because the oil companies are evil and all powerful and out to crush the little man.

Wake up you dumb fucks. You let these people say all of this nonsense without any reprocussion. What they say might make you feel all warm and cozy inside, but it's nowhere near the truth. The problem with Americans these days is the fact that nobody possesses the capability of coming up with their own ideas. Too many people see Obama or Clinton telling them this crap on the television and take them for their word. These people are just salesman for their party...that's all. Do you honestly think they give a shit about you and me? It's kind of like the car salesman trying to sell you a shiny new sports car. You might be apprehensive at first, but he keeps hinting about all the pussy you're gonna get as a result of that car. So you take the bait, buy the car, and find out you're a fag with a tiny dick and the car doesn't help at all.

The war on drugs

I have a friend that is a cop and part of the local K9 unit. Frequently, the police department is boasting in the paper about all these big busts. 9 times out of 10, it's a marijuana bust. The department also severely overvalues the pot plants they confiscate so the headlines look great. Seize one plant and you get something like "$10,000 in marijuana off the streets". That's a big fucking plant!

I give my friend a hard time about his job because I feel it's meaningless. For one, they go after marijuana most of the time. Hardly ever do you hear about them busting a pill distributor. But even if they would do that, they are wasting their time.

His argument is that he's getting scumbags off the streets and in jail. My argument is that most of the time these guys are scumbags. But what makes them scumbags? I think the only thing that differentiates a drug dealer from a car salesman is the fact that a drug dealer's wares are illegal. If you legalize drugs, what have you done? You've turned a dealer into an entrepreneur.

My point of the whole argument with him is that we are just wasting billions of tax payers' dollars to get these people off the street. If we would just legalize the drugs, you would put the shady dealers out of business and the actual honest dealers would probably convert over to being legit sellers of the product, therefore helping out our economy.

Do you realized how much money we would save if Drugs were legal? How about this, do you realized how many extra tax dollars would make it's way to the government if drugs were sold legally (and taxed)? Let the abusers, abuse themselves. They can help thin the herd while our economy booms. Quit ruling Americans with the Bible and a lot of good things can be made from shady practices.

I was born a rambling man

I'm just going to ramble on here for a bit. I'm retiring for poker for the summer. As much as I try to keep playing throughout the spring and summer, I can't do it. It is at the point where I'm having to force myself to play. I'm having a terrible time working up the motivation to clear some of that bonus on Eurolinx.

I'm finally getting a haircut. I was going through this hippie phase and was going to grow my hair a little long. However, there's just too much maintenance involved in not making it look like Billy Bob from the back woods. Thursday evening, I'm buzzing this bitch.

Life has been pretty decent lately. I had fallen into a downward spiral there for a while (seems like the same thing every winter). However, I let some negative influences in my life. I've decided to just cut out these people completely because they offer nothing good to my life and I offer nothing good to theirs. If I keep cutting out all the bad stuff in my life, then my life has to be good, right? Seems logical.

I get my appraisal on my house finally this Thursday at 11:00 a.m. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I got a big fat Monte Cristo White cigar waiting on the hopefully good news.

I should own a new zero turn radius riding mower this Saturday. I think I'm going with the Cub Cadet, although I haven't counted out John Deere or Husquvarna either. All I know is that it's going to hurt the pocket book a bit. Every time I save up for that new TV I want, something new comes along and takes it away.

Oh and happy tax day. For you dumbasses struggling to get all your paperwork done and filed before the deadline, just remember, there is a solution to all this madness. The Fair Tax plan.

Tidbits

...Like those poor sots who are going to vote for Obama thinking he'll actually shake up DC.

Pauly wrote that quote and it couldn't be more on the money. Think about it.

- I've noticed the conservative talk shows spewing some garabage lately about the economy not being as bad as the press lets on. I can feel the effects of the economy more than the average citizen. I don't rely soley on a monkey's wage to live. I have other irons in the fire that make income. When the economy is bad, I feel it. I've felt it for the past 6 months. Where does all my money go? Food and gas. Food, I can deal with... Gas is another issue.

Diesel fuel is over $4/gallon now. Diesel fuel is cheaper to make than regular gasonline. Also demands for oil are lower now than before. So, what gives? I understand the basics of supply and demand. So if demand is on the decline and supply is on the rise, how come prices are also on the rise? Bottom line is that $3+/gallon is too much for product that affects so many peoples' lives. I don't blame the oil companies either. They show record profits, but the profit margins are very low when compared to other products being sold around the world. I blame the tree-huggers who won't allow us to build any more refineries.

- I stay away from the internet as much as possible on 4/1. Everything you read is crap anyway. Then when 4/1 comes, the non-crap even turns to crap. I had read American Idol was having Dolly Parton night. I was very surprised when this turned out to be true. Brilliant move AI execs. Needless to say, Dolly Parton night was crap.

- I did play poker last night. At least I tried. I got a couple hundred hands in before I gave up. My PC just didn't want to behave. I've had the same install of XP on it for about 2 years now. I guess it's time to clean that up a bit. I need to back up a ton of files and downloads before clearing out that beast. At least I won at poker. Not much, but a win's a win.

- I used my special "Small Town" guy powers to circumvent my fears of getting a bad agent to do my house appraisal. I used my underground network of relatives and friends and secured the same guy that did my last appraisal. He knows my house, he knows what it looked like before and will be impressed when he comes in for a 2nd visit.

- If you are running a fantasy baseball league, avoid USA Today's Sandbox site like the plague. So far, we've had a draft page not work (manually drafting in a keeper league sucks!), our live scoring page has yet to work properly, slow updating of the stats, and now the whole damn webpage will not show and allow us to set our lineups. Oh yeah, and they just raised prices $2/month starting this month. Awesome job guys!

- Oblivion is still ruling my thoughts, but I'm getting aggravated because I don't have time to play. I had time last night and was able to play for about 30 minutes before my computer problems blew me away. I haven't even picked up Bioshock since starting Oblivion. It's such an awesome game and everything about it is impressive. I never really gave RPGs much of a chance in the past, but they are right up my alley when I think about it now. I guess you can think WoW for that one.

- I'll be out of town for the GTA:IV launch. Boo!

Superuser Tuesday

In honor of Super Tuesday part two, I've decided to switch up my poker game a bit. Instead of going through the hassle of studying the game... Instead of putting my opponents on a range of hands and figuring my equity in pots.... Instead of calculating pot odds... Instead of doing all the things that make a good poker player, why not make it so much easier on myself? Why not invoke the SUPERUSER Code?

I thought about it long and hard. Sure this is a moral issue, but the money would be great! I could win huge tournaments and rape the cash games. Nobody would have an edge on me. To combat the moral dilemma, I could just donate like 1/2 my winnings to various charities. I'd be the Robin Hood of poker...ummm wait.. I'd be the Hillary Clinton of poker. I'd rob the profits from these greedy oil tycoons every time they sit at my virtual high stakes tables and I'd give 1/2 of it to the needy and keep the other 1/2 for myself.

Now that I've tackled the moral dilemma. How do I invoke my super user privileges? I searched 2+2 and even started a post. Nobody was willing to help. The information was not out there! I checked Mr. Google, Wikipedia, Ask Jeeves...hell, I even emailed Mark Seif (No answer). This was not going to be easy.

This would take some hacking. I started with the Full Tilt client and did a little reverse engineering. This led me to a portal where I could access the "server" side of the software. After some magical banging on my keyboard with both my fingers and my head, I was able to access Full Tilts main server! This is where all the magic begins. I was able to find all the sources and download them back to my PC without being detected by Full Tilt's security team. They were too busy chasing down bots on the penny tables to notice me. HDouble waved goodbye as I exited the server.

Once I had the sources, I relentlessly followed the code. These lines of code contained the answer to all my problems. Fortune! and if I get caught...fame! Then I came across a peculiar section of code. It had my screen name in it. Something about a perpetual doomswitch. However, after that...I found it. The Holy Grail of online poker...Full Tilt's superuser code. Could this be real? Only one way to find out.

I entered the code and was greeted with a "Welcome Scott Fischman" pop up window. This didn't surprise me much because I had read the code already (and saw the results of Sunday's big game). I then proceeded to sit down and challenge Phil Ivey to a death match. Well, what do you know...the first hand was dealt and I could see Ivey's hole cards plain as day. But were they really his hole cards or just a fake? I kept the pot small on the first hand and called down with my weaker hand...just to test the waters and make myself look legit. SUCCESS! I lost the hand, but I knew his hole cards. You are mine Mr. Ivey!

After 14 hours of heads up play, Phil Ivey and I were exactly dead even. What the fuck? I have superuser priviledges and still can't win? He folded every single time I was ahead. You've got to be kidding me! Phil Ivey has superuser priveledges too!! How far does the rabbit hole take us?

I decided battle between 2 superusers was pointless and a waste of time. I then dropped down and decided to play with Matusow. I doubled my bankroll within 30 minutes. After 2 hours, I was completely debt free. Another hour after that, I was calling in sick to work because I knew I wouldn't need that job anymore. I'm a friggin superuser and don't need no stinkin' peasant job! I cleaned Mike Matusow out by 5:30a.m.

My eyes were burning from the lack of sleep. My stomach was aching with hunger. Yet I couldn't stop. 8:30 a.m. rolled by and I was now a millionaire. By noon, I had enough money and started googling financial advisers. Then around 4:14 p.m., my body shut down from exhaustion. I had been up 48 hours and been on a crazy heater (self inflicted due to the superuser code). I passed out with my head on the keyboard for 19 straight hours. My keyboard was ruined from the drool. Luckily I had my laptop as a backup.

When I woke up, everything seemed like a dream. Had I really run my balance up to over $5 million? Did I really quit my job? Or was it all a dream? I went to check my Full Tilt balance and couldn't do it immediately because my keyboard was ruined. However, after firing up my laptop, I checked my Full Tilt balance and there is was... $5,001,327.98 I'm rich Bitch! Plus I had a couple hundred in rakeback coming my way as well.

There is so much I could do with $5 Million. However, I promised to donate half of it to charity. But why give away half of this money when I have no way of explaining to the IRS where that $2.5 Million came from? I'm guaranteeing myself a tax audit. Of course, I could just pay the taxes on the money. Only pros do that! I couldn't rightfully just keep the entire $5 Million though and not make due on my promise to help out the needy.

Then I was hit with a brilliant idea. Instead of sharing my wealth, how about I share the superuser code and allow others to gain their own wealth? That's the answer! So, for all you loyal readers, here it is.. the code that could change your online poker career and your LIFE forever.

Here are the superuser instructions:

1.) Log into Full Tilt as normal.
2.) Using your keyboard, enter the following code:

↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → B A

3.) Once you open your first table, you should be greeted with this popup:

4.) Profit.

That's it. I require no compensation for this. I'm donating this super user code to the public absolutely free of charge. You are welcome.

Loose Change Freeroll, Bowling, and Castro

Yesterday was a good day on the tables, spoiled by bad play by myself. The results were still good, but I felt dirty. I made some good plays and a bunch of horrible plays. I didn't suck out to get my wins though. I just tilted a bit and got impatient. I had a huge fish with a huge stack on one of my tables. This guy was 8 buyins deep at one point. I had direct position on him. He had a VPIP just south of 90% and I raised him relentlessly. He started firing back at me, throwing a ton of bluffs. I got the best of him most times, but once I stacked off very light against him (impatient) and once I called down when I knew I was beat. However, for the most part, I won all my money from him and one other guy. It was weird because 90% VPIP fish was running like God against everyone but me. Money was transfered to him and then to me through him. Results wise, it was a good day, poker wise, I'd rather forget about my horrible play. I have video footage too.

Don't forget that this Sunday is the Loose Change Freeroll. All you gotta do to be part of these freerolls is sign up for rakeback at one of the sites listed on the right and opt into the freeroll. This weeks prize pool is over $5200. There aren't a huge number of entrants either.

I'll be in a rush on Sunday because this weekend is the city tournament for bowling. I have made good showings in these the past 2 years. 2 years ago, I finished 1st in the singles, and our team finished first in the team event. I also won the best all around / all events prize. Last year, I finished 3rd in the singles, 1st in the team, and 2nd in the all around events. This year, with my buddy Rog back in commission and him having a SHITLOAD of handicap, I expect to do well. We have a pretty solid team. The singles and doubles events will be held Saturday (I'm scheduled to bowl at 12:30), and Sunday the team event will be held at 12:00. Hopefully I can be done in time to get home for the start of the freeroll.

In other news, Michael Moore is still a douchebag. Now he's wanting to have Fidel Castro as his guest at the Academy Awards. Hey, fine with me! Just make sure he gets to walk the streets of Miami for a couple hours before he leaves. I'm sure a lot of defected Cubans would love to meet him. What the fuck is wrong with people in this world? Why is this fat piece of shit even famous? Honest, if I ever meet this man, I will throw a punch just out of principle. I'll take some handcuffs just to get one good punch.

Doyle backs Obama

It looks like Doyle Brunson has backed Obama for the presidential race. That's probably not any surprise to anyone. Obama seems to be the poker players choice. I'm still leaning towards Obama, but I'm not making up my mind for a while now. I highly doubt that McCain will get my vote this fall.

I'm not basing my decision on just poker though. I would love to see our whole tax system reformed. If you want to properly stimulate this economy, that's the way to do it. I highly doubt Obama or Clinton either one are interested in the Fair Tax. Only Huckabee seems to be interested in this great idea.

What's up with Paul Phillips?

So, did someone pull a gun on Paul Phillips or something? Judging from his last three posts, evidently a cop held him at gunpoint. I'm assuming they confiscated his weed too :). He's been on a roll the past 2 days spewing out some sort of hippy, gun hating, cop hating, B.S. on his blog. What's the deal Paul?

In all seriousness, I like Paul Phillips. Sure, he's your typical liberal hippy, but the man has made his way in life. He liberated himself from the IT prison and has gone on to lead what seems like an envious life. Respect there.

As for Paul's politics, I'll shovel them to the side like I do with Daniel Negreanu's. At least with Paul, he doesn't annoy the shit out of you. Daniel, on the other hand, is just a fucking annoying idiot. He made a couple of obvious reads on TV and got this "great reader of poker hands" rep. Since then he's been riding that rep by saying "I knew that's what you had" after every hand. He then spends his spare time regurgitating Al Gore quotes and telling me I'm going to rot in hell for having a V-8 engine in my truck.

Paul Phillips > Daniel Negreanu, but both are idiots when it comes to how the world really works.

Huckabee

My stance on Huckabee has changed. I'm all for the fair tax. That's his good point. Other than that, it looks like he's your typical right wing Christian that also wants to push his beliefs and morals on to me. This is not acceptable in my book. That's the reason I couldn't stand Romney and now it looks like Huckabee has taken that path.

Dear presidential hopefuls:

Let me rot in hell in peace!

Thanks,
Predator314

So now I guess I'm caught up between McCain and Obama. These 2 could very well be who are on my ticket this November. I'm liking Obama more and more each day. He's probably the most liberal candidate. I'm a fairly conservative person by nature. I hate the steal from the rich and give to the poor mentality. However something has to change in Washington.

Super Tuesday

Tomorrow is an exciting day. It's Super Tuesday. After tomorrow, we will have a good idea of who our next president will be. Our primary isn't for quite some time, so I have to live through other states to get my political fix. This year's cast of characters? ... not so good.

I'm a registered Republican (yeah..boo! hiss!), so I'll for the most part have 3 choices this spring... Huckabee, Romney, McCain. Out of those 3, I like Huckabee the best. The main reason for Huckabee is he can rally up some support for the fair tax which I believe would help this country more than anything. McCain is more a of a middle of the road kind of guy. He just comes off as an asshole to me....much like Dick Cheney. Mitt Romney...well..I just can't vote for a guy named after a piece of baseball equipment. Besides he's a "management" type. He's a suit's suit. Not for me.

On the Democrat side, you are down to 2 choices for the most part. Clinton or Obama. Well, I despise everything about Hillary Clinton. She's a snake. I swear this woman would eat her own young to have power. The Clinton's want to be the next Kennedy's. They will stop at nothing to get there. The woman has no personality, a no good agenda, and she's just plain annoying. Obama on the other hand comes off as a cool guy to me. I don't necessarily agree with all his politics, but he knows how to speak to people. He can rally up a group like no other candidate in this race.

How I will probably vote this fall:

If Clinton vs. Romney: Romney
If Obama vs. Romney: Probably Obama
If Clinton vs. McCain: McCain
If Obama vs. McCain: Obama
If Clinton vs. Huckabee: Huckabee
If Obama vs. Huckabee: Huckabee

This is all subject to change as I learn more about the candidates and what they stand for. You just have to remember that this whole process is just a beauty pagent. The president doesn't have any real power. I'll bet that little red button isn't even hooked up to anything.
