.

In my quest to reach 20K hands this month, I have 1/2 failed so far.  Tuesday night, I grinded.  Since my money is still somewhere between Full Tilt’s mysterious address and my mailbox, I had to drop down a level and play $10NL on Stars (didn’t have funds immediately available for deposit).  I continued to run hot at that level and ended up winning more than what I probably would have at $25NL…you never know.  I really miss the Neteller days and blazing fast withdrawals and deposits.  Fuck politicians.

Yesterday, I had to go to Matewan for work.  I’m not sure anyone outside of WV has ever watched it, but there was a movie made about the town.  Not much has changed since those Coal Mine war days.  Except now instead of train being the preferred method of transportation, they tend to prefer travelling by 1.) ATV 2.) Hitchhiking or 3.) Car…. in that order.  These are some backwoods folks for sure.  The trip was fairly uneventful with the exception of getting stuck behind a truck painting lines on the road for 10-15 miles….doing at most 20MPH down the straight stretches (which are few and far between).

Once I got home, I played with the pup and mowed grass.  Then I couldn’t miss the Princeton Devil Rays game on such a pretty evening.  So, off I went to the ballfield.  It was pretty much a sell out which is awesome to see.  The only reason there were so many people, though, was because they were playing the Bluefield Orioles, which is pretty much a cross-county rival.  I scored some cool schwag including a Delmon Young figure, a Fred McGriff bobblehead, and a super awesome Carl Crawford superhero figure:

crawford

Anyway, the P-Rays won in an exciting game and I got to cheer loudest around the swarm of O’s fans that decided to sit in my area.  So it was a fun night.

Unfortunately the game wasn’t over until after 10:00 p.m. and I hadn’t eat since 12:00 p.m. and I was about to starve.  The concession stand lines were way too long during the game, so I had to do without until after the game.  After food and all, it was pretty much bed time when I got home.  I had to let the dog out and all that good stuff, so I didn’t get to play any poker.

I don’t really have much in the way of plans for the 4th weekend.  At one point, we will try have a bonfire or something, but not sure which night.  Other than that, I just have a trip to Charleston planned to pick up an outdoor dog kennel that my cousin gave me.  I plan on grinding a lot of poker over the weekend too.  I’ll probably do my usual grinding in the morning, enjoying the day, grinding at night, sleep routine.

I’m also getting an itch for live poker.

Vegas baby?

I'm rapidly approaching my vacation and I still don't have any plans set in stone yet. It was going to be a trip to Manchester, TN to experience Bonnaroo. Well, it looks like those plans are going to fall through as most of my friends that once said they were going have fell victim to the common sickness called "Pussus Whoopus", commonly known as "Pussy Whooped". Looks like I'll be going to the All Good music festival instead.

I have since moved my vaction to a more standard Mon-Friday vacation. My vacation starts on June 16 and ends June 20. But what oh what am I going to do? I really have no clue.

There's always fishing. It's the standby. I love fishing, but I want to do something different this year. Bonnaroo was my different thing to do this year. So now what?

Here are some contemplative ideas:

- Say fuck it and go to Bonnaroo solo (very doubtful, but intriguing)

- Hit the Shenendoah River and enjoy that area for a few days.

- Hit Stonewall Jackson lake and keep things a little closer to home.

- Book a trip to Vegas and check out some ofthe WSOP madness.

- Take a 12 hour road trip to Atlantic City.

Out of those few items, the Vegas trip sounds most appealing. I've never been to Vegas. It's on my list of "Places to see". I'm looking for something different and Vegas is about as different as you can possibly get.

It would kind of suck going to Vegas alone, but I'm sure there will be plenty of blogging brethren to hook up with. I'm not much of a partier. I don't drink and I'm not interested in the night clubs. However, I wouldn't pass up a 4:20 smoke break with Pauly and Change100 if invited there though ;).

My whole thing with Vegas is that I just want to check out the Casinos and play some live poker. Especially during the WSOp where the trout ponds are stocked with retarded fish. Next in line is the food. I want to try out some of the good food Vegas has to offer. I'm a redneck in the woods surrounded by 2 McDonalds, 2 Wendys, 2 Hardees, a Taco Bell, and 5 strip clubs. It's bad when I have more of a selection of where I want to see naked meth addicts than where I want to eat.

I'm going to start pricing out the trip now. I don't have a load of money to blow in Vegas on Hookers and Blow, but I might be able to put something together. If any of you Vegas veterans out there want to give me some pointers as to where to find the best deals on plane ticket and/or room, I'd be much obliged. I'd most likely either be flying out of Charlotte, NC, but there's a possibility I could fly out of Greensboro, NC.

Sorry

Well, after that last post, I wanted to immediately delete it. I have to be more positive in life and quit bitching. I have to be pro-active and not re-active. So, for those that actually read my last post, I'm sorry. For those who haven't gotten to it yet, don't bother.

This evening, I'm raising the stakes. If I want to do anything in life, I have to put forth an effort. I can't just make goals, then half assedly work on those goals, and then forget about them. I have to push forward and, forgive me for overusing this word this week, GRIND. This evening, I will put in my poker hands. Not just the hour that I intended, but I'll go the extra mile and put in a 3-4 hour session if at all possible.

I'm really beginning to wonder if seeking therapy is a route I should take. Not any "Oh my parents don't love me and the world is against me sessions". I know I'm fucked up in the head and I don't need a doctor telling me about it. I even know why I'm fucked up in the head most times. I even know how to fix the situation. What I don't know is how to motivate myself to do so.

This blog is the best tool I have to motivate myself. Unfortunately, all my bitching an whining would probably motivate my readers to a new corner of the web. Money used to motivate me. Now, freedom seems to motivate me more than anything. I feel like I'm bound and shackled 5 days a week. That should be motivation enough for me to get off my ass and get motivated to do something better with my life. But it hasn't in the past 8 years. At least not enough to make a difference.

Maybe I'm getting close right now, becase the only thing I want to do right now is go home, fire up a bunch of poker tables and swell the bankroll to astronomical heights.

I have about $1200 in my bankroll right now (give or take $100). My baby-step goal is to hit $5000 with that very soon. My ultimate goal is $100K. That gives me approximately 2 years salary to have on the back burner. Then I can use that time to figure out what I want in life.

That's the only plan I got for now. Maybe if I work on being a better all-around person. A person that's in shape. A person that feels good about himself. A person that doesn't have a such a negative outlook on humanity. Maybe if I can be that person, life just won't suck anymore.

How to make life not suck

I get so damn depressed from time to time. Most of the time it's because of my job. I love every aspect of my life except this God Damned job. There are only a few aspects of this job that I hate though. But they are huge aspects such as:

- I hate dealing with these asshole customers
- I hate dealing with my asshole boss
- I hate not having anything in common with any other co-workers and therefore no the social aspect of this place sucks.

I caught myself typing "How to make life not suck" in a Google search a minute ago. Partly because I'm having a shitty day. Partly because I'm bored and have nothing better to browse on the internet. Then I started thinking "How bad does my life have to suck to ask Google for answers?"

It seems like every day that I wake up with a bright and chipper attitude ready to face a nice Spring/Summer day. Then about 8:15 a.m., I'm ready to say fuck it all and quit. All the life has been sucked out of me by these heartless fucks who think my sole purpose on this planet is to fix their fuck ups. I'm tired of it and need change.

But then it's back to the same dilemma I've fought with for the past 5-6 years. Where do I go? It's not like another job in the IT market will do me any good. Unless it's with good people that I can call friends and just have a blast, I'm not interested. Computers fucking suck to work with for a living. That's where my skills are though.

I'm pretty sure it's not the job and more the fact that I HAVE to do certain things for certain people or my welfare is in jeopardy. I hate being told what to do. I guess I could go off on my own and do the self-employment thing, but only certain aspects of that interest me. The rest is just more work. However, I could choose my co-workers and my hours more easily than I can now. I'm also in a bad area for this line of work. But I love this area.

This whole rant is the reason why I want to see if I can be disciplined enough to grind out hundreds of thousands of hands a year. Sitting on my ass, taking bad beats, and wondering if I'm giong to make enough money to cover the rent sounds way more appealing than sitting on my ass wondering which dick head customer is going to call with a crisis today.

I smell hippies

I've been thinking about my lifestyle lately. Honest to goodness, I think I'm turning into a hippie. More and more, I just want to roam around and enjoy the beauty of this planet. I want to be free and without boundaries. Fuck, I even let my hair get long over the winter. The problem is that I don't want to do it alone. This is where I hit that speed bump in the road.

The average hippie that's care free and willing to take such a quest has no ties. Not to a job, nor family. They can just pick up and take off at the drop of a hat. If there's a concert 2 states over on a Wednesday night, no job is going to stop them from going. Now this is where it gets good.

I actually know some of these types of people. Southern WV is no Southern CA, so the free spirits are few and far between. Most of these southern WV hippies have one thing in common though... they are scumbags and not anyone I'd want to hang out with on a regular basis.

I don't have any hippie friends. All of my friends are slaves to their jobs just like me. The problem is that most of them don't even realize it. They get up at the butt crack of dawn every day, put on their ties and shovel off without a care in the world. They get their paycheck and are happy to go home and repeat the same process for the rest of their lives. They don't mind living payment to payment and paycheck to paycheck.

Who am I to spoil this for them? If they like it, then awesome. I don't though. And sometimes I just get the urge to drop everything and start over in a new place. If I had a partner in crime to back me up, I'd have probably done this long ago. But I don't. I could go up to my best friend and ask him to drop everything and pack up his shit and let's move to California or Vegas or wherever. If I did something like that, he'd probably ask me what kind of drugs I've been taking.

So, I'm not really a hippie. I don't think it's even possible for me to be one because I voted for Bush twice. However, I'm envious of some of them. Not the dirty hippies that wreak of B/O, cheap booze, and bad pot, but the free spirits that roam this planet doing what they love to do and doing well at it. Most of all though, I'm just tired of being a slave to society.

Wannabe Redneck Businessmen

I really hate it when rednecks think they are businessmen. This is the main reason I despise the coal industry. Coal is WV's main business, yet I learned at an early age to just stay way clear of that industry. It's dangerous and the coal companies are never stable. The main reason why is because they are all run by rednecks.

The worst part is when the rednecks buy a computer system (from us) and then expect it to magically solve all their problems. Problems not solved? No problem we'll try to push around the nerds in tech support.

We have this one customer that is just a mile or 2 away from us. Honestly if I ever see that man in person again, I'll probably punch him. He's a dickhead. He's dirty, and he's and idiot. He threated to sue me personally and I told him to have at it.

Here's the scenario. The companies will do anything to cheat the system. They use FIFO costing on their inventory, yet they don't truly use FIFO costing. They have some consignment inventory that they transfer to their main warehouse. This consignment inventory has an inflated cost (because it's not theirs and they don't care), but after they transfer it over, they sell it at a different cost (they can't have that overinflated cost showing on their books). I see why they do it, but here's the problem. Say widget XYZ is in consingment at $200, and it's transferred to the main warehouse. You transfer 1 widget at $200 which results in a credit to the consigment warehouses inventory for $200 and a debit to the main warehouse inventory at $200. Dandy. However, now when they sell the item, they use a $100 cost. Do you see the problem here? You have 1 widget valued at $200 on your books. You sell that 1 widget at $100, leaving you with a quantity of 0, but you still have $100 leftover showing in your inventory general ledger? Hello! Common sense anyone?

Well, this would be common sense to any businessman but a redneck one. Redneck refuses to listen to this as being a problem. Then he calls at tax time saying his inventory is way overstated. No fucking shit. Well, Mr. Redneck businessman gets irrate because of course it ain't his fault for not having any common sense. Seriously the douchebag has been inhaling methane and coal dust for 20 years, why shouldn't his brain be in top notch form? The worst part is that Redneck businessman finds out he's fucked up and resorts to threats and lawsuits.

Well, Mr. Redneck businessman, I say "FUCK YOU!"

Beware: Poker Content within (and more)

I'm up in Cleveland. This is my first time in this city. Just like every other city in Ohio, I hate it. It's cold, dark, rainy, and the traffic sucks. I'm going to spend the next 3 days couped up in this motel room just cause I'm miserable anyway. That is, unless I can score some free tix to The Jake.

I got a new friend request on Facebook, which I don't use very often. I didn't recognize the guy, but saw he was a poker player. It looks like there are a series of tournaments in the area called the E.S.O.P. They run all games, not just hold 'em. I was checking out the website and it looks like they've had HE, Omaha, Razz, Stud, and even HORSE tournies. Awesome! I did also notice one guy that seems to frequent the games. This man is my mortal enemy. Ever since grade school, I've thought of this man as one of the biggest pieces of shit in WV. However, I can look by that fact if I can win his money.

I've messaged the guy trying to get some more info on when all the events are held. I'm eagerly awaiting a reply. Bowling is almost over, so I need something to do. I'm also feeling the itch to play some more poker again.

I also got a reply from the GM of the Princeton Devil Rays wanting to meet with me about possibly working with the team this summer. I plan on setting that all up when I get back in town.

My fantasy baseball team is sucking hard. On Saturday, I had Bedard, Owings, and Hudson starting. Micah sucked and got hurt. Huddy was yanked after 3 innings. Only Bedard got a win. On Sunday, CC Sabathia pitched a gem and got zero runs support for the loss. Then there's Justin Verlander...he decided to remain shitty. So, with only 162 starts allowed in the season, I've pretty much wasted 1/5 of them. I've had only a couple good starts by my pitching staff. I pretty much traded my entire OF to get my supposedly dominant pitching staff: Verlander, Sabathia, Bedard, Dice K, Hudson, Cain, Billingsley. If this pace continues up through the all-star break, I'm going to do some serious trade proposals to the competing team to build my team for next year.

The height of brilliance

Company pays $75 for a tech support call because they are wasting an extra 2 sheets of paper every night on a report they don't need. Wonder how long before they recoup the $75?

I just applied for another job

Good ol' unemployable me just applied for another job. My motivation behind this wasn't money or even replacing my current job. The motivation was for fun. I sent my resume to the local Minor League baseball team, the Princeton Rays. They are a rookie league team here in town. I go to quite a few Rays games every year and I thought it would be fun just to see what kind of jobs they have available.

I would work for them for little to no pay if it was a decent job. I'm not jockeying the concession stand, ticket booth, or cleaning the shitters. However, I thought if they could use some work on their website, maybe do a P-Ray blog, or even being a scorekeeper, I could help out. I'm going to be at nearly every home game this year anyway.

We'll see how it goes. I don't really have any expectations of landing a position, but if they do have something fun available, then I could get my foot into the door for working for Major League baseball or one of the teams.

Across town, we have the Bluefield Orioles too. I hate the stadium over there and don't go to many games at that field, but I wouldn't be opposed to working for them if the P-Rays don't have anything available.

I am also going to be checking out positions available at other franchises around the country starting with the Atlanta Braves. I really like the Minor League circuit, but I'm assuming MLB is where the money is at. I figure if I gotta be a working class monkey, why not have fun with it?

The best part about this whole process is that I don't really care if I land a gig or not. If I do get something, it will be for slave wages. So I can be picky about what I want to do. If all they have are positions wearing chicken costumes, cleaning the shitters, or shagging fly balls, I'll leave that to the kids.

I hate my job part 98723562

I'm back to the office today and each day I rot in this hole just provides more motivation for me to grind out poker hands. I didn't mind the job when I was out on the road and not getting bombarded with tech support calls, interruptions from co-workers, and aggravation from the boss. I was doing my own thing. Then today comes and it sucks again. Yay!

I'm struggling to find poker time these days too which sucks. I had anticipated being able to grind out a ton of hands in the motel room Monday night, but I couldn't get the wireless internet working. Instead I watched a bunch of episodes of Family Guy.

Yesterday, I didn't get home until later and by the time I got settled down, it was almost bed time. So again, no poker. Tonight is bowling night which leaves zero time for poker.

Thankfully Thursday is just around the corner and so is grinding. I'll just have to wait it out until Thursday. Then I'll probably play as many hands as I can get in before Lost comes on. Friday I'm not sure about and Saturday, I might be able to play some later.

One thing I'm planning on doing Saturday is beginning the renovations on my poker office. I'm going to move everything out and start painting the room. Then I need to score a desk. I already scored a brand spanking new water cooler for the office. It's pretty sweet! I just need water for it. Total price...FREE! My mother's office throws away a lot of stuff like that for no good reason. I'm hoping they decided to get rid of a fancy executive desk soon!

This is how I get there?

This is a follow up to my Where do you want to be in 5 years blog. In that blog, I answered where I wanted to be in 5 years, but wasn't able to answer the question about how to get there. This post will hopefully be a gameplan for getting there.

So, how do I plan on living this free, hippy-style lifestyle that I lust so much after? I see 2 possible answers at this point in time: 1.) Winning the lottery and 2.) Poker. Since I don't play the lottery, I'm stuck with poker.

I've always won at poker. Reading my blogs, it might not seem like it, but I'm not one to brag a whole bunch in the blogs, because it's a sure fire way to piss off the poker gods and then cometh the hellfire, brimstone, and a huge downswing. However, I have always won at poker. Even before I started practicing bankroll management, I was a winner.

My problem is that 1.) I don't play enough and 2.) I have cashed out my bankroll a few times leaving myself with nothing left to build from. Now, that I'm at the end of the rope with the job, I'm going a different route. The bankroll is the bankroll come hell or high water. Nothing touches the bankroll unless it's to pay off a debt. I'm sick of being stuck in the donkey limits, making single digit per hour win rates.

I don't consider myself a world class player or anything, but I do consider myself much better than a lot of my opponents, even the better ones. I have worked on my game very hard the past 3-4 years. In fact, I bet I've put just as many hours into studying the game as I have actually playing it. Well, maybe not, but I have spent many an hour studying my game, others' games, and reading up on the game. Not to mention hands I've talked over with my poker playing friends.

I'm not sure if I'm good enough to make poker my sole source of income. That's why still don't plan to do that. However, what's stopping me from making poker my primary source of income? I could put in 25-30 hours a week without breaking a sweat. I would also have other sources of passive income as well.

Again, this is all hypothetical and definitely not my first "I wanna go pro" post. But let's say that I'm working up to this point. What would I need to do?

First thing's first is establish a bankroll. I'm working on that aspect right now and it's coming along slowly but surely. I'm spending less time in front of the TV and more time raising and folding. This has helped my bankroll so much. At what point do the tables give me a decent hourly rate? With the cost of living here in WV, I could definitely play $200NL full time and make enough to live. However, that's not what I want. I want to LIVE. Not as in MTV Cribs and Rolls Royces and shit. I'm talking about not struggling to get by. Being able to travel without having to "save up" for it. Stuff like that. So I figure getting into the mid limits is necessary. And that will require somewhere between $30K-50K in bankroll (for me to feel satisfield). Ok, so I'm 1/50th of the way there.

Next thing is to establish the rainy day money in case things go bad. I would need to have at least 1 year's expenses saved up in case I didn't make a dime at poker. I'd have a few months to figure out it ain't for me. I'd rather have $100K saved up just to be safe. So, we're talking about $130,000 and then thinking about it. Now I'm about 1/130th of the way there.

So, as you can see, I have these aspirations, but they are far from being reality. But it gives me a goal. Something to look forward too. If I can hit that $50K mark (which I'd really like to do by year end), then I can start seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

$130K might seem like a lofty number when your bankroll is 1/130th of that, but it's not a matter of "if", but "when" as long as I keep grinding and learning like I have been lately. I am working on my game constantly, trying to take it to the next level. Once you get to that next level, and then move up in limits, you start getting there exponentially faster. It's a tough road ahead, but one I'm willing to take at this point.

At the rate I'm going, I will die a young and unhappy man. Things need to change. I keep bettering myself in life, but don't get any happier. This might not even make me happier, but I guarantee you one thing. If I ever quit my job to play poker and it doesn't work out, I'd never come back. It would at least be the kick in the tail I need to pursue my dreams....whatever they may be at the time.

Where do you want to be in 5 years?

Have you ever been to an interview and been asked this question?

"Where do you see yourself in 5 years?"

It's a tough question. Every time I've heard an answer to it, the answer has been something along the lines of steady job, family, 2.3 kids, and a dog/cat. I find that answer to be a load of shit... at least from my point of view. But where do I want to be in 5 years?

Let me start off by telling you about the people I admire. My heroes and the people that I envy in life are the ones that do what they want, when they want. There seems to be no strings attached to these people's lifestyles. They don't worry about being tied down to a 9-5 job. They might still be working, but they do what they enjoy.

One example of a person I admire is Pauly. Aside from being a great writer, this dude is more admirable for his lifestyle. Don't get me wrong. I don't think what Pauly does for a living is a total vacation. But I can guarantee you one thing...he's having more fun than me. Some people might look at a free spirit such as Pauly and get jealous. I admire his life. I'm not sure I would want to do all the traveling he does, but let's just say his life ain't dull.

So where do I want to be in 5 years? The only answer I can come up with right now is that I want to be where I want to be in 5 years. Make sense? In 5 years, I want to be free from the ties of a 9-5 job (8-5 in my case with a 2 hour daily commute). Working a job is the one thing in life that makes me unhappy. I feel enslaved even though I have an easy job compared to 90% of the country. It's not really even the job that makes me feel like a slave though. It's the fact that I have to be here to get a paycheck.

What's even more depressing is that it keeps me from doing a lot of stuff that I'd like to do. I'd love to play daily golf tournaments during the summer. I'd love to visit various bodies of water and catch some fish. I'd love to experience Vegas, LA, New York, Japan, Australia, and a lot of Europe....shit...I'll even throw in Canada. I do get 2 weeks a year vacation, but that's not the same. A typical vacation for me ends up with about 3 days of fun and another 4 days of me dreading going back to work. It's sad but true.

I just want to do what I love. But what is it that I love? Let's see, I love to golf, fish, play poker, and listen to music. I love to hang out with friends. I love to visit new places. I love to be free. Basically, I'd love to be able to just wake up one morning and say "Fuck it! I'm going on a road trip" and then just disappear for a month or 2 exploring the world. But instead, I'm tied to this office and only allowed to stray away 2 weeks a year. That my friends is prison and not a life.

Basically, this life is sucking out all of my soul. I have lost all faith in humanity living for another 100 years. It's not going to be global warming or nuclear war that does us in. It's going to be sheer fucking stupidity and the fact that we can't do anything for ourselves. Once I'm in the office, I get bombarded with calls from people who can't think outside the box or even apply common sense to the business world. The business world is a joke in my book anyway. You have a few smart people leading the way with a bunch of monkeys sniffing their butts to get a paycheck every week. I guess I just don't like the smell of ass.

In 5 years, I'll be 35 years old. Approximately 1/2 way through a normal life. Have I enjoyed life thus far? I'll give that an astounding NO. The first 20 years or so was great. I was fed this line of bullshit from birth that if I get good grades, go to college, and eat my vegetables, I'll have a good job and live a happy life. Ok... I did the honor roll thing, got my degree, and got a good job, and I couldn't be more fucking miserable because of it.

"Just quit!" you say "And quit your fucking whining!".

I wish it were that easy. I might be happier, but I still wouldn't be able to do what I want to do because of the lack of income. How the hell can I get to Vegas or Europe without any money?

So where do I want to be in 5 years? I've explained that. Now how do I get there? That's a good question. I'm working on it. It's a baby steps sort of thing. I just have to keep looking ahead.

No shirt no shoes no shit

I have a hard time on Monday mornings getting motivated. This morning was no different. I slept hard last night. That is until I woke up on my own around 6:25 a.m. The alarm was set for 6:35 a.m. I hate that shit. I changed the alarm to 6:45 and nodded back off.

This made the morning preperations rushed. I didn't really care though. I was too tired to focus anyway. Nothing was working in my brain. The shower had no effect on my level of focus. I was dog tired and wanted to go back to bed.

Normally I leave the house around 7:15 a.m. It was 7:27 a.m. and I hadn't even put on pants yet. FUCK ME! My clothes were in the washing machine! I fell asleep last night and forgot to put them in the dryer. These were ALL of my work clothes. I put on a pair of jeans and t-shirt and headed in, already late. I wasn't too worried, my boss wasn't going to be there anyway.

When I come back from lunch today, I got back to work. I was having a decent day. I was wearing comfortable clothes. It wasn't my day to answer the phone. Everything was hunky-dory. Then he walked in. My boss. What a douchebag. He can turn my day from bright and cheerful to dismal in mere seconds. It's not that the man is mean or anything. In fact, he's quite nice. However, he's a weasel. I can't really explain it, but the man is a piece of shit and our personalities clash. He looks down on people like he's better than them. Just to hear him order his food at a fast food restaraunt is like nails on a chalkboard. I refuse to eat if he's already ordered. I fear the phlegm content in my food. No way I work a fast food joint and have someone talk down to me like that and not fuck with his food. No sirree Bob! They just don't pay enough. Anyway, that's just an example.

Today, as soon as he got in the office, he started calling for my help. Fix this on my laptop. Fix that. I can't figure out how to copy this disc. It just went on and on and on for about 2hours. Then when I was working on his demo on his laptop, he had the balls to tell me that I wasn't wearing a tie and that was our company policy. I looked at him and he was wearing blue jeans, a long sleeve tee, and some tennis shoes. I was wearing jeans, golf shirt, dress shoes.

Not wanting to get into it with him, I just said "I have a bowling tournament after work and don't have time to go home and change". This was a total lie. I should have just told him how I felt.

"Look douchebag, I'm dressed up better than you! Your dress code is also retarded! The only person I see outside of co-workers in this office is the UPS man. Dress clothes are expensive, not comfortable, serve no purpose. I'd be happy to dress up for you when I go to another customers office a customer comes here, but to dress up just for the sake of dressing up is fucking retarded...just like you".

That's what I really want to say....someday maybe.
